What is Sitemap and How To Submit Sitemaps To Google Search Console With Easy Staps


Sitemap -

Sitemap is a xml file which includes all urls of your blog.It allows you to inform Google and other search engines that Urls on your blog/site are available for crawling.


Sitemap is very important xml file .Without it , your blog & site Urls will not be shown in Google and other search engines.After submitting your blog/site in Google Search Console ,you must have to submit sitemaps in Google Search Console .



In my previous post I told  How to submit blog in Google Search  Console and in this post I am  going to share How to submit Sitemaps to Google Search  Console.

1. Go to Google Search  Console and login with your email id.

2.Click on your blog Url (which you submitted to Google Search  Console).

3.Here ,click on crawl option and go to sitemaps.





4.Click on ADD/TEST SITEMAP button.

5.Here a small page will be open.

6.Write sitemap.xml.



7.Click on Submit option.

8.Now, you successfully submitted all Urls of your blog to Google Search  Engine.



How To submit Your Blog /Site In Google Search Console In 10 Easy Steps With Images.


Once you have created your Blog/Website ,You have to be submit your blog/site to Google Search Console , otherwise your blog/site will not be shown in google search engine.

Today I am going to share,how to submit your blog /site in Google Search Console in 10 steps.

1.Go to settings of your Blog.



2.Click on Search preferences. In Google Search Console  , click on Edit.




3.You will reach Google Search Console .Here, click on ADD A PROPERTY button.



4.When you will click on the button,a small page will be open.



5.Here, fill the Url of your Blog or Site.( your blog address is present  under Basic in your blog's Settings)
and click the Add Button to continue.

6.A new page will be open,click on HTML tag in Alternate methods.


7.Copy the meta tag below,


and paste it into your site's home page. It should go just below <head> .


8.Once you have pasted the meta tag ,come back to Google Search Console 

9.Click on the VERIFY button.


10.Congratulation! You have successfully connected your site/blog to Google Search Console .
